Does anyone else listen to the audiobooks from Audible? If so, have you recommended that they get books 6 & 7?

Hey, I just joined and I'm interested in posting and trying to get this site alive again with information. Please message back! I know it's been a while since you posted this. I still haven't read Turn Coat myself yet.

Yes! I'm going to start adding and updating pages here when I have the free time, since no one else is. I hope you'll get this message, and help! It's so sad that it's so dead here… :(

See thread title.

It's Fool Moon, not Full Moon by Tsu-namiTsu-nami, 15 Aug 2009 11:09

I just found this place and was hoping to find someone else here.

Anyone interested in updating these pages with me?

Best regards,

How long has it been since anything was added here?? I just finished the newest book and am very eager to discuss it with other fans…but I can't seem to find any!

Anyone out there?

I'll check back in a bit, see if anyone pops in to chat :)

The mind of Harry Dresden seems a facinating place to me…so where is everyone??

Don't be so sure…I don't want to spoil anything you may read in future…but…well, just keep reading

Re: Will Susan be back? by dumblegirldumblegirl, 14 Apr 2008 05:18

I my opinion, Jim Butcher decided that after all, Harry was not a romantic hero, and so Susan got written off in this book.

Book is book - tv-show is a "show", nice 45 min popcorn cinema for nonreader to get äh hunger for the books…

I saw now some episodes of the dresden tv-show and it's nice - not bad and not good. Nice to know that the first time I remember one of my favourite book series are on screen.
Now is time for battle tech series after this "transmorpher merchendise summer" ;-) lol

I love them both! I saw a clip where Jim went to visit the set and ran into Terry. It was so squee-worthy!

-sigh- I'd definately have their babies.

oh my… yes… he does an american accent like no one's business… (but oh… his sweet sweet natural voice… mmmm) and of course Terry's is wonderful too… everyone thinks i'm crazy that i find it somewhat amusing that the to actors have traded accents for their characters… haha

As it always is when I watch something based on a book, I adore it while I'm watching and tear it to shreds the moment it's over.

Anyone else have any thoughts about the episode? Why did they cast Ancient Mai as a bad guy on the good side? Why did they light her eyes up in red- everyone knows that it's cheesy. Harry was standing with the Bug, does that mean that he'll eventually start driving it? What about Susan? Are you disappointed that she wasn't the Sex Pot that she's supposed to be? How about the massacre of the plotline? Should they have stuck more to the book and extended the episode?

I want to know what you think!

I didn't notice Kirmani's accent, but I've only been to Canada once so chances are I wouldn't have anyway. You know whose accent I also didn't pick up? Paul Blackthorne is from England and yet he manages to keep it hidden. I watched an interview with him this afternoon and to steal a line, Hell's Bells! That man speaks orgasm.

First… Yay for first post!!!

moving on… While I was watching "Walls" I noticed that Kirmani had an accent (at least it seemed to me) which was stronger then in previous episdoes… Being from the northern mid-west and having what many consider a canadian accent myself (haha) I'm thinking that kirmani grew up in Canada, or else the UP or north MN… It'd be an awesome back story i think.

did anyone else catch that… i REALLY heard it during the car scene.

(this really makes sense, considering the actor, Raoul Bhaneja, grew up in Ottawa)

I think about the weirdest things…
